Kart Moves Forward when Idling (Torque Converter)
- The belt may be installed backwards: For the 30 series only, make sure the flat side of the belt is facing the engine.
- Wrong size belt. A belt that is too short will let the kart creep forward while in idle.
- Driver clutch on the crankshaft could be malfunctioning
- Driven pulley on the jackshaft could be malfunctioning
- Spacing on the driver pulley could be incorrect
- Double check the idle setting
- Check the alignment of the pulleys
