TrailMaster Warranty Policy

Registering Product
It is Distributor / Dealer’s responsibility to register product for warranty, Warranty registration card and copy of original sales invoice must be received within 14 days of initial purchase.
A copy of the warranty registration card is the consumer’s proof of warranty for future reference.

  • NO WARRANTY COVERAGE WILL BE ALLOWED UNLESS THE PRODUCT IS REGISTERED WITH BV POWERSPORTS LLC.
  • PRODUCTS MUST BE ASSEMBLED BY A BV POWERSPORTS AUTHORIZED DEALER TO BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. 
  • ALL WARRANTY MUST BE HANDLED THROUGH THE DEALER WHERE THE PRODUCT WAS SOLD.
Resale Preparation Allowance
In order to ensure the product’s best condition for resale, an one-time resale preparation allowance of $50 per unit is for consideration of freight damage to units such as change out major plastic parts, and necessary repairs to make the product operational (for example product is not starting, or product is not running properly). The intent is for this to be used on a need basis per unit, not a blanket allowance for all units received. Some units with minor damages or need minimum repair (such as but not limited change fender, replace battery or replace CVT clutch) which will be fixed in less than 30 minutes are not considered for this allowance.A simplified form will need to be filled out for this labor reimbursement. Any needed parts will need to be ordered on a parts order form. This program is applicable to all units purchased from BV on or after February 15th,2023.

Limited Parts Warranty
BV Powersports is committed to providing excellent After Sales Service through swift warranty processing.
Warranty starts from date of purchase by the consumer or from date of filing 1st warranty claim (missing parts or shipping damage claim is not considered as warranty claim) for dealer’s unsold inventory unit. During the warranty coverageperiod, we will cover manufacturer defective parts for all BV Powersports products.

Defective parts may be requested by us to return or photograph for review in order to approve the warranty claim. It is dealer’s responsibility to keep broken parts available for further review before its warranty claim has been approved. Warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, or other reasons except for manufacturer’s defect.

Following shipping charges are covered under this warranty policy:

  1. To ship all missing and shipping damaged parts to the dealer except the oversized/overweighted parts need to be shipped via LTL freight (such as but not limited, oversized plastic body parts; oversized roof; frame or roll cages; trunk; over weighted engine);
  2. To ship the warranty parts to the dealer except the oversized/overweighted parts need to be shipped via LTL freight (such as but not limited, oversized plastic body parts; oversized roof; frame or roll cages; trunk);
  3. To ship warranty claimed parts back if it’s requested by BV.

The following parts are covered under warranty, along with their warranted period:

  • FRAME: (Go kart; Mini bike; UTV & Golf Kart; Scooter) 1 year
  • FRAME: (ATV, Dirt Bike) 90 days
  • ENGINE ( internal): (Go kart; Mini bike; UTV & Golf Kart; Scooter) 1 year
  • ENGINE ( internal): (ATV, Dirt Bike) 90 days
  • FUEL COMPONENTS, CARBURETOR & EFI: 90 days
  • MUFFLER: 90 days
  • A-ARM, STRUTS, AXLES: 90 days
  • ELECTRONICS: 90 days
  • BATTERY: 60 days*
  • SPEEDOMETER: 30 days
  • TIRES & WHEELS: 30 days
  • BRAKES: 30 days
  • CLUTCH & TAV, CHAIN, BELT 30 days
  • CABLES 30 days
    *From the date battery is serviced
Parts not listed are generally not considered as eligible warranty parts.

LABOR WARRANTY

ALL TAURUS PRODUCTS AND EFI MODELS purchased from BV on or after February 15th, 2023 ARE CONSIDERED FOR LABOR WARRANTY.

Labor compensation is paid at dealer posted shop labor rate.

Labor warranty form must be filled out by dealer and submitted. BV POWERSPORTS has the sole right to approve or reject any labor warranty claim. The labor warranty is to be approved before work is begun.

We will not accept labor warranty claim for product that do not have:

  1. SUBMITTED WARRANTY REGISTRATION CARD WITH COPY OF SALES RECORD
  2.  PROOF OF MAINTENANCE RECORDS FROM AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP BASED ON MANUFACTURER REQUIRED MAINTENANCE PLAN.
General Exclusions:
Warranty does not cover improper use of the vehicle, including, but not limited to racing, jumping, stunt driving, or any other uses prohibited by the Operator’s Manual. Additionally, this warranty does not cover component failure or damage to vehicles which are leased or rented, vehicles which are used at a concession track, or that have been structurally altered. The warranty excludes any failures that are not caused by a defect in material of workmanship. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, modification to the vehicle that are not BV Powersports approved parts, normal wear and tear, abuse or corrosion.

Specific Exclusions:
This limited warranty does not apply to components, which are subject to normal wear and tear. These items include, but are not limited to spark plug, filters, oil change, fenders, seat, fasteners, decals, or cosmetic body panels and natural discoloration of material due to ultraviolet light. Downtime, pick-up and delivery charges are not covered by this warranty.

This warranty policy is only valid for physical dealers.

Warranty policy and procedures are constantly reviewed by BV Powersports LLC and may be changed to better accommodate processing and efficiency of warranty disposition.
