With the introduction of XRT, there are now two ultimate performance 8s X-Trucks™ to choose from, each offering it's own unique driving experience. X-Maxx reigns as the king of monster trucks with its big tires, big ground clearance, and big attitude. The new XRT is the companion to X-Maxx that is engineered for a race-inspired driving experince with its sharp handling and unmatched speed.

Traxxas engineers spent countless hours designing every joint, angle, and touch point for maximum strength and convenience. The race-inspired triangulated structure transfers and dissipates impact energy through the chassis to minimize the possibility bending or breaking a support.

New high-strength front and rear axle carriers house large sealed ball bearings and are a compatible upgrade for X-Maxx. (Parts TRA7832, TRA7836, TRA7852)

Race trucks are built low and wide for maximum stability. XRT's WideMaxx® suspension and low-CG chassis deliver incredibly sure-footed handling. It's built to corner hard and fast for massive 8s power-sliding roost that's not possible with any other truck!

XRT's VXL-8s™ goes farther with a new aggressive tune that maximizes power output across the entire RPM range. The additional mid-range punch hits hard for rolling wheelies on demand. The Velineon® 1200XL brushless motor is a brute 8s powerhouse that features increased cooling from a massive heatsink and dual fans.

X-Maxx pioneered 8s toughness with an engineered all-metal driveline. XRT uses the same Traxxas-tough™ driveline with sealed 4-gear differentials and extreme-duty diff covers to increase bearing support and eliminate flex.

Low center of gravity, race-tuned aluminum shocks and an ultra-wide stance give XRT razor-sharp reflexes and flat cornering response that feels track ready. Off the track XRT is equally at home ripping full-throttle 8s powerslides with massive roost and a never-lift attitude.

Innovative cold air intakes direct cooling air over the motor and speed control for increased efficiency and run time. The hood mounted intake integrates with the shock tower to deliver air to the VXL-8s™ speed control. The roof vent channels cooling air directly to the dual motor fans.

There's a difference between waterproof and water-resistant. XRT continues the Traxxas legacy of giving you patented, best-in-class waterproofing solutions and the freedom to drive where you want, regardless of the elements.

XRT wears the toughest clipless body yet with a full internal frame and wide attachment points that virtually eliminate tear-through damage. A thick roof skid plate forms an integral part of the frame with front and rear buttressing for superior rigidity.

XRT's interlocking skid plates integrate precisely with the chassis to create a smooth under tray to absorb ground impacts uniformly for predictable, snag-free performance.

XRT protects your battery investment by positioning the batteries deep in the chassis with full side protection for battery packs. Rugged snap-lock battery retainers keep a firm grip on the batteries no matter how intense the action gets.

Traxxas Stability Management® (TSM) is there when you need it to help harness XRT's brutal 8s power for all-out acceleration and control. With a chassis as stable and predictable as XRT, you may find that you don't even need it. TSM lets you adjust the amount of assistance from off to 100% right from your transmitter.
