This is great clutch, but it will not work as sold here if you are using a Predator 212 motor. The version sold by BMI comes with black springs. These provide too high a lockup rpm regardless of the adjustment holes used. The correct springs are the silver ones which can be found online or at the SMC website, www.kartclutches.com The silver springs need to be set as follows: There are six springs. Set every other spring in the first adjustment hole and the other three in the third adjustment hole. With this setup the lockup rpm is low enough so you can drive your Kart, trike, etc without the engine racing at high rpms. The clutch will break-in after a time and you may find it needs adjustment. Also, note that you can set the springs in any combination of adjustment hole positions as long as the one directly opposite is set to the same hole. You can do every other one or four and two. You can even mix springs like two blacks and four silvers. Just remember each spring must have its opposite the same color and adjustment hole. Experiment with setting till you find the one that works best for your type usage.
