PUDDLE OF MUDD - The Redemption Tour
The Los Angeles post-grunge band Puddle of Mudd will bring The Redemption Tour to the BMI Indoor Speedway on Saturday, November 24 with special guests Saving Abel. Puddle of Mudd is known for such hit singles like "Control," "Blurry," "She Hates Me," and "Psycho."
Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, the Billboard Music Award-winning band released their major label debut, "Come Clean," in 2001, which sold over five million copies and was certified triple platinum by the RIAA. Their 2003 follow-up, "Life on Display," was certified gold, and 2007Æs "Famous" debuted at No. 27 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and kept them in the public eye. Puddle of Mudd produced six studio albums all together, the latest being 2011Æs cover album "Re:(disc)overed," along with a greatest hits collection in 2010.
They released a new single, "Piece of the Action," in 2014 and announced that they were recording their next album in 2015. Scantlin is the only founding member of the group left, however, after a series of arrests and controversies over the years that havenÆt left him with the best reputation with concertgoers.
The Redemption Tour is the perfect stage for Wes to showcase he is back.
Since 2008 Saving Abel has embodied the definition of "Southern Rock." Even before their "Self Titled" debut LP, they were barnstorming the country making fans everywhere they went, just by being themselves. Simple, down home, charming, country-boys with immeasurable talent that was destined to take them straight to the top. The band was signed by A&R wizard Jason Flom to Capitol records and their first single, "Addicted" did just that, reaching number one on several charts and the follow-up singles "18 Days" and "Drowning" helped sell over 750,000 copies of their debut album. They toured heavily in support of this album, playing with Buckcherry and Avenged Sevenfold, and later on Nickelback, in arenas across North America. Night after night, the boys would go back to the bus with their ears ringing from 15,000 fans screaming their lyrics.
