Style
Green Stripe Spring Set
  • Springs processed to reduce the amount of spring pressure loss from running in the engine.
  • Only lose between 0.2-0.6 lbs of pressure verses 0.8 - 1.2 lbs in other springs.
  • This will allow the engine to run a higher RPM before experiencing uncontrolled valve float.
  • Pre-Set option checked to meet AKRA Tech guidelines
  • Spring Pressure:
    10.6-10.8 lbs @ .850"
    17.8-18.0 lbs @ .650"
Yellow Stripe Spring Set
  • Stronger than the Green Stripe spring, and slightly more durable than the Red Stripe spring.
  • These springs on average will lose less than .2 lbs of spring pressure over the course of 4-5 races in a typical AKRA/NKA prepped engine and has become a preferred spring for builders.
  • The Yellow Stripe spring is one of the best "All Around" springs on the market. This spring must be checked/set to meet AKRA or NKA rule requirements, they may not pass tech out of the pack.
Red Stripe Spring Set
  • Strongest 10.8 lb spring on the market. 
  • This Heavy Duty spring will allow the engine builder to custom fit their spring to their particular build. Having been through a specific process, which will reduce the amount of spring pressure loss from running in the engine, this spring will allow the engine to run a higher RPM before experiencing uncontrolled valve float.
  • This spring is considered a "Builders Spring" and will not test legal without being set.
  • Springs should be checked prior to installation to insure they meet rule requirements.
  • Spring Pressure:
    11-11.5lb @ .850"
    19-19.5lb @ .650"

I run these springs on two engines that have governors removed and stage one modifications. They work well. Anything heavier is overkill and not needed. Plus, for $8.50 what's not to like? If your engine is not a crazy build then these will do just fine.
