Azusa has selected an extremely tough steel for their high quality Deluxe Flexpruf Axles.
Product Specs:
The ends step down from 1" to 3/4" and have a 3/4-16 thread.
Two keyways (1/4") are offset 180 degrees for stress relief, balance and unrestricted positioning of brakes, bearings and hubs.
Plated and poly-wrapped for protection

Q:
Please let me know if I am measuring correctly. My axle is 39.25 in overall including the length of the 3/4 threads. I assume I need a 36"? Any assistance would be appreciated.

A:
No a 36" axle will be 3.25" shorter than your current setup. Go with a 40" axle, that will ensure it is long enough for you.

The a keyway is cut 100% the length of the axle with (50% of the length on one side and the other 50% on the opposing side).
