Q:
I have a Comet 30 series drive and I am needing to replace the springs inside the torque pulley. I am trying to determine which of these I need (Black/Blue/etc) The springs I am trying to replace are 7 3/4 inches in length. Is this part # 011190A sufficient?

A:
Any of the springs will work with the 30 series drive, its just a matter of what engagement range you are looking for. The stock spring is black. The 011190 will engine at about twice the RPMs of the black (depending on your drive weights).
