Product Specs:
1 1/4" Tubular Aluminum Axle
1/4" wall thickness
1/4" opposing keyways
Keyway length: 34" axle will have the entire length of the axle keyed. However as the axle increases in length a gap will appear in the center of the axle varying in length from 3" - 10".

Excellent axle for a Drift Trike. We use 36 axles from BMI on all our Drift Trike builds. Very strong, light weight and machined to perfection. Trike Daddy Customs approved!

How strong are these axles? Will they last in an off road kart? 16" tires no shocks and my son is a porker

A:
I would not recommend this axle for that type of application. Aluminum axles are designed for racing and not inherently strong. Look at a Chromoly or Steel axles for stronger tinsel strengths.
